A well-known British construction company has been selected to redevelop the arts and design centre at Somerset College, a recent news report in the local business media was able to reveal.BAM will carry out extensive work on the existing 1970s Arts House on the college’s Taunton campus. The contractor for the £7 million project will put a new roof and exterior glazing on the main four-storey arts building, as well as giving it new mechanical and electrical services.

A new Defence and National Rehabilitation Centre is set to built near Loughborough following an investment estimated at around £300m.The new facility will take over the services currently delivered at Headley Court and will be roughly four times larger than the current site. The Ministry of Defence argued that it will "improve and advance the cutting-edge treatments already available to injured members of the armed forces".
