Digital CCTV means more cameras can be connected to your network
As a measure to protect its staff, an ambulance service has pledged to include security cameras in all new vehicles. A paramedic who was a victim of violence whilst on duty has welcomed the move. Brian Dodds, who was attacked outside his ambulance this year, approved the decision by North East Ambulance Service. Mr Dodds, who is also chairman of Unison for his local branch, said: “Anything that will prevent attacks against staff and other members of the public is supported by the branch.”
CCTV is an ideal way for your office or site to obtain increased security measures. Access Control UK’s smart card access system is modular, so a digital CCTV system can be added. Digital CCTV is a PC based, multi channel video surveillance system that utilises the most advanced compression technologies to bring you the highest picture quality and video performance. Compared to analogue CCTV, a far greater number of CCTV cameras can be connected to your network and viewed, all through a single PC monitor; and picture quality of digital is far superior to analogue.
