Hewden expands into new, larger Avonmouth site
Plant and equipment hire business Hewden has decided to expand its presence in Avonmouth by taking up a part of the former Chep site, a news report reveals.
The company has decided to rent 22,082 sq ft of office and production space in two buildings on a 2.2 acre site, for a rent of £150,000 per year, the main aim being the establishment of a large-scale regional depot.
Any company that decides to extend its facilities on such a large scale should also seriously consider the implementation of a very solid and reliable access control system, and this is exactly where Access Control UK prove its extensive experience in designing and delivering reliable, secure and affordable high-spec solutions.
The flagship offering in our extensive lineup is represented by the Access Lite.NET/Enterprise.NET systems, capable of providing from one access control point to a multi-site network of scanners and clocks. Suitable for any organisation, the Lite / Enterprise range is capable of controlling a network across borders and even continents.
The systems are easily operated by contactless smart cards, which means that access is granted / denied instantly. Furthermore, the systems can also work with physical security devices and have no limits in terms of the number of employees registered.
Additional extra features worth mentioning include two-factor authentication through biometrics, as well as the fast and easy integration with other systems.
